tom ford sells tadao ando-designed 'cerro pelon' ranch in santa fe

after more than four years, fashion designer and film director tom ford has sold his ‘cerro pelon’ ranch in santa fe, designed by acclaimed japanese architect tadao ando. the property, which encompasses 20,662 acres (or 32 square miles) of land in new mexico, first hit the market in 2016 for $75 million (see previous coverage here). one of its most unusual features is the ‘silverado movie town’, the iconic western movie town that was originally built as a set for the film ‘silverado’ in 1985 and is part of the property.image courtesy of kevin bobolsky group / © 2021 cerro pelon ranch
